Sunday School

childrenSunday School for all ages is held at 9:30am

Sunday school is a helpful Bible study hour for all ages.  Classes are held at 9:30 am for 45 minutes and are facilitated by spiritual leaders in the church. Biblically-based topics range from doctrine, church history and Christian living to biblical book studies. There is also a discipleship class for those who want to learn the basics of Christian growth and desire a higher level of accountability. Our goals for our Sunday school hour at Living Hope can be found in the Book of Ephesians:

Ephesians 3:17-19: “So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith – that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

Adult Sunday School:

Our desire is to learn about God together through studying His Word and to help one another as we grow in our walk with Him. Our hope is that the Sunday School classes we offer will help to accomplish those goals. These classes, organized into three different tracks (by topic), will seek to ground us more deeply in our knowledge of Him and to help us live out Biblical principles in very practical ways.

Children’s Sunday School for ages 4 through 5th grade

We realize that your children are precious to you – they are also precious to us here at Living Hope! When Jesus walked this earth, they were precious to him as well. “Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people, but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:13-14

We consider it a privilege to serve children by teaching them the wonderful news about Jesus and the salvation that He offers!

Classes meet in various locations throughout the church facility.  A map of the facilities is available to guide you to the correct classroom.

Our Goal

Our goal is to help parents to teach their children what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. We desire that they would understand the great love that God has for them—that He sent His own Son to die on a cross for them! We also desire that each child would come to experience the new birth.  We want to help parents point their children to Jesus Christ.

Our Programs

Our programs are designed to keep children engaged. The programs include interactive teaching, crafts, games, activities, music and more. Sunday School for children is offered at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays. There are also various programs offered on Wednesday evenings for kids of every age.

Our Commitment

Our commitment is to ensure your child’s safety and protection. All children’s volunteer workers are required to sign and agree to our Child Protection Policy and volunteers that help on a consistent basis are required to have a criminal background check. We desire to keep our children safe!
